Membrane Guard Plugged?

The PP guard on the outside of the Membrane Shell serves an important function by protecting the fragile membrane from being cut or torn.  Sometimes, however, the holes in the guard get filled with paint solids, interfering with the efficient operation of the Anode Cells.  If you suspect that you might have this condition, call UFS Corporation at (219) 464-2027 ext 24 or email Steve Jovanovic at steve.jovanovic@ufsc.com for information on how to clean or remove the guard.

Do You Feel Your Anode Cell Vendor Has You 'Over a Barrel'?

When it comes to spare parts, do you feel locked-in and over-charged?  Do parts take a long time to arrive?  Feel like you are being taken advantage of?

If your E-coat tank uses C-cells or box cells, you may be experiencing a feeling of powerlessness.  You can break free!  UFS Corporation wants you to try the original TECTRON™ Anode Cell.  It was the first tubular anode cell that revolutionized the industry and put smiles on the faces of customers worldwide.

We are so sure you will like our products that we are willing to provide a free TECTRON Cell to C-cell users (and many of the 'copy-cat' cells) or two TECTRON Cells if you are still using a box anode cell. This is a complete cell that you can install in your system and get an actual side-by-side comparison.

To learn more about the TECTRON Anode Cell Evaluation Program visit our website at ufsc.com. Or contact Maureen Faherty at (219) 464-2027 x28 or email her at maureen.faherty@ufsc.com.

Are Your Floor Anode Cells in the Proper Location?

Floor Anodes are better utilized when placed in the front of the E-Coat paint tank.  The purpose of the Floor Anodes is to get a paint film started on the bottom exterior of the car body very early in the cycle.  Once this is done, the Side Cells can concentrate on getting film started in the hard to reach regions of the Rocker Panel, B Pillar and interior of the body.

Another benefit of frontal placement is that the differential of highest (i.e., vertical exterior door) to lowest (i.e., B Pillar, et al) is generally lower when there are Floor Anodes (Roof Anodes too) located very early in the E-Coat paint cycle.

If your Floor Anodes are located at the back of your E-Coat tank and you aren't satisfied with the distribution variation around the car body, then you could benefit from moving the Floor Anodes to a more forward position.
